Structure of the Football Referee Uniform
Among all the uniforms present in sports the football referee uniform is by far the most complex. The players’ uniforms are only comprised of a jersey and shorts. The uniform of the referee is much ore complex. It is composed of a shirt, a pair of pants or shorts depending on the weather, a cap, a whistle, a pair of socks and a pair of shoes.
The shirt of the football referee uniform is usually black and white with vertical stripes. This helps the players to distinguish the referee during the game and also makes him blend in the field.
The Gordon International football referee pants are usually white and are fairly tight, but they are rarely used in football games. The shorts are almost always preferred. As the material and the cut are concerned they are very similar with the ones of the players, but the color is entirely black.
Some referees sometimes wear a cap. Again, that is not very common and usually the cpa can be seen in other sports like basketball.
The socks of the uniform are also black and white with horizontal stripes this time. They are fairly long reaching the knee. This helps prevent the accidents and keeps the referee warm despite wearing just shorts.
