Double Pushchairs Are the Perfect Choice for Parents of Twins

If your first child is still in a pushchair and you are expecting again, or if you are going to be a proud mother of twins, it is advisable to go for a twin pushchair rather than two separate pushchairs. This is not just the perfect pushchair if you have two kids, it is also available in different designs to suit your needs.

However, when buying double pushchairs, you will have to make a choice whether your want to buy a tandem pushchair with two seats arranged one after the other or a twin pushchair with two seats arranged side by side. There are a number of aspects that have to be taken into account before buying the right pushchair for your child.

The first and foremost consideration while buying a double pushchair is its weight. In other words, though the weight of a double pushchair will exceed a single one, you should select a pushchair that is not just fitted with all the desirable features but is also lighter in weight than the other ones.

The next consideration should be your way or living and the places you often visit. For instance, if you visit malls and places with narrow entrances, a twin pushchair might not be the right choice as the twin seats increase the width of the pushchair considerably. However, a tandem pushchair might not be appropriate if you live in a hilly or rough terrain with lots of curves and turns.

The last and perhaps the most important consideration is the age of your baby. If you have a toddler and an infant, you should invest in a tandem pushchair as it will provide different seating arrangements for both. However, if you have twins, a twin pushchair is more advisable.
