Energy Productions for Economical Resaons
There are those that adapt this mode of energy production due to economical reasons, other for environmental reasons. But one thing is for sure. This energy source is cheap and at the same time safe. It is cheap in that it uses the wind as its source of energy and therefore does not have any capital to go along with its construction except those necessary for building it like materials necessary thereto. It is safe since it doesn’t produce smoke that will create gases harmful to our health and not to mention to the environment. Recent advances in technology have led to the appearance of large-scale wind farms, and it is these that governments are looking at as a solution to problems with increasing energy prices and climate change. There may be debate as to the extent of human involvement in the latter, but for now most governments are set on reducing reliance on fossil fuels so the issues surrounding wind power must be considered. Many government initiatives have been designed to facilitate construction of large scale wind power facilities, commonly known as wind farms. The first major one is that wind power is very, very cheap. To build your own windmill, it costs around $200; a small investment to pay for all the savings. The second major advantage is that wind power is not harmful to the environment and in a society that is ‘going green,’ that is very important. As for disadvantages of wind power, there are not many that I have been able to find in my research from myself and others who use windmills for energy.
